Kibler Charter fishing welcomes you to Fort Peck Lake in Eastern Montana fishing for Walleye, Sauger, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass. Late May – July are the favored months to catch these species. Suspended Lake Trout and juvenile Chinook Salmon can be caught trolling deep diving crank baits in the early spring. Larger Chinook Salmon & Lake trout are targeted in August.

We are home of the Montana State & World record Saugeye.? Caught by Myron January 11, 1995 at a whopping 15.66#, the record still holds!

While reservations help plan our season, we do take spur of the moment trips. If you are close and would like to join us give us a call anytime. All you need to bring when you fish with us is lunch, license (warm water stamp too), and beverages.? You may reserve individual or multipule day trips.

We recommend bringing your camera. We will share our photos and videos, please bring a 16 gb or larger? thumb drive. Gas, boat, guide, bait, tackle, rods & reels are provided.? We’ll fillet your catch and freeze your trophy’s for transport to the taxidermist of your choice. We recommend Missouri Breaks Taxidermy in Jordan.

Our guide’s boats are 19′ – 20′ and serve three fishing clients comfortably for walleye, northern pike and small mouth bass. Because of the down riggers required to fish for salmon and lake trout, we can only serve two people per boat when fishing for those species. Two boats and guides are necessary to effectively fish a party of four. Our rates are $500.00 per boat per day and accommodate one – three fishermen.

The hunting portion of Kibler Outfitting & Charter Fishing takes place on the Kibler Ranch, 25 miles north of Sand Springs, Montana. Your hunting area is comprised of 52 sections of private and BLM lands. You will become part of our family with a vacation/hunt for Elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, antelope and birds. Not included in your trip is transportation to and from our ranch, alcohol, licenses, meat procession or trophy mounts. Trips can include upland bird hunting when bird hatches support quality? hunting for pheasant, sharp tail grouse and Hungarian partridge, this changes each year.? We do not keep bird dogs. If the weather is warm enough, we do have prairie dogs to shoot. ? Unless you particularly desire a one guide/hunter ratio, we typically hunt two hunters per guide.? Due to increased requests, we are now offering Photo Hunts.

Reserve your dates early as licensing deadlines are March 15. We will help you through the licensing process to make sure you apply for the necessary special area permits for elk and antelope. Camp is two mobile homes; one 14 ‘ x 55′ and the other 14′ x 80’. Camp has new beds, televisions, wireless internet service and an extension of our phone you are welcome to use. Meals are prepared with your tastes in mind and an information sheet you complete helps us plan home style menus.
