Experienced Hunting Guides Needed
Hunting Guide position
Swan Mountain Outfitters is looking for experienced hunting guides and horseback guides for the 2025 season. We have positions open for employment that could span as long as April 15th-Nov 30th including spring bear operations, summer packs trips in the Bob Marshall Wilderness and 3 months of fall hunting operations.
Requirements
o Applicants must have extensive horseback experience in the industry
o Basic mule packing skills with decker pack saddles
o Experience hunting big game in the west such as black bears, elk, whitetail, mule deer, etc.
o Great customer service and hospitality experience
o Some exposure to food preparation and sanitation
o A good attitude and teamwork mentality
o Basic knowledge of equine first aid
o WFA and CPR Certification: These certifications can be renewed or acquired initially through our business
o Understanding of proper game care, field dressing and caping practices
Room and Board is included in this position in the form of 14 x 16 ft wall tents at Swan Mountain Outfitters base camp. We have a full time cook that cooks 3 meals a day.
Daily pay rate will vary depending on previous experience and which season the individual will be guiding for us.
