The 7-V Ranch Outfitters was started in 1951 by Glen and Peg Childers.? Son Ross Childers has been guiding since 1960 and outfitting since 1983 when he took over the family business.?Ross?s wife Kelly joined the business in 1980. ?Ross and Kelly?s son Chan started guiding in 1993 and daughter Noli also started helping in 1993.? Son-in-law Sheldon Bollinger started guiding in 2002.? Daughter-in-law Kelsey joined the family business in 2013.? Ross, Chan, and Sheldon have guided hunters who started hunting ?at ?the 7-V Ranch with Glen and Peg. ?Ross and Kelly?s grandsons Peyton, Hayes, and Kale are becoming active participants, helping their father Sheldon with his guiding.? Granddaughters Ainsley, Rylee, and Delaney? have ?joined the famil,y and so begins a continuation of the family legacy. ?
Many hunting opportunities abound in the Missouri River Breaks of Garfield County where the 7-V Ranch is located.? With over 77,000 acres of privately owned and privately leased land, the 7-V Ranch can assure its hunters of quality game.? Mule deer, whitetail deer, elk, and antelope can be seen in abundance.? There is a mountain lion season for area 700. ?There are also prairie dog towns with numerous inhabitants to shoot at.? You may also choose to relax in your cabin or at our lodge when you have filled your tags, or take in the great outdoors. ?
Along with your hunt, you will stay in one of our furnished cabins and dine in our lodge, never going away hungry.? Non hunters and spouses are always welcome.? Hunters must furnish his own rifle, ammunition, and personal effects.
